These Terms and Conditions govern your use of text messaging (SMS/MMS) communications provided by the Community Building Institute of Middletown (“CBI“). By opting in to receive text messages from CBI, you agree to these terms.

Program Name & Description
The CBI Community Alerts & Updates program allows the Community Building Institute of Middletown to send recurring text messages to individuals who have opted in. Messages may include:
- Program updates and announcements (RISE Afterschool, RISE Summer Camp, RISE Leadership Academy)
- Family Zone and Parent Resource Center news
- Robert “Sonny” Hill Community Center event notifications
- Workforce development and community engagement opportunities
- Fundraising campaigns and donation drives
- General organizational news and community updates
Message & Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Charges are billed by your mobile carrier according to your service plan. CBI does not charge any additional fees for text messages. Contact your mobile carrier for details about your plan’s messaging rates.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies. You may receive up to several messages per month depending on program activity, events, and organizational updates. CBI will not send excessive or unsolicited messages beyond what is relevant to your opted-in programs.
How to Opt Out
You may cancel your text message subscription at any time. To stop receiving messages from CBI, reply STOP to any text message you receive from us. After texting STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. You will not receive any further messages unless you re-subscribe.
To re-subscribe, reply START to any previous CBI message or contact us directly.

CBI reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above. Continued participation in our messaging program after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
